Please see below details of a Hymn Writers Workshop being organized by Jubilate. This Day may be of interest to both aspiring and established Hymn Writers and composers, especially those living in, or around, or within easy access to London. It will be a day of insight, practical training and fellowship for lyricists and composers alike.
In addition to the main sessions, workshops for composers will be led by Noël Tredinnick and Roger Peach, and those for lyricists led by Martin Leckebusch and Joel Payne. Drawing on their experience both in church music ministry and the writing and publication of numerous hymns and songs, they will deliver presentations and practical workshops, including an opportunity for writers to receive feedback on their own work.
The day is intended to be accessible to the beginner whilst also providing the more experienced with tools and encouragement to improve their craft. Refreshments will be provided but delegates are encouraged to bring their own lunch, or use one of the many outlets on the doorstep of the church. Registration & coffee from 10.00am, the programme begins at 10.30am. Bursaries are available; please contact us for more details.
