Annual Conference for 2025:
22nd – 25th July

Highgate House Conference Centre, Grooms Lane, Creaton, Northampton NN6 8NN

Highgate House (https://www.cct.org.uk/highgate-house/highgate-house-conference-centre) is readily accessible by train to Northampton, followed by a taxi ride; alternatively, there is plenty of parking onsite for cars. The campus is compact and level, with all facilities readily accessible.

Arrival is from 2.30 pm on Tuesday, 22nd July; the Conference ends with lunch on Friday, 25th July.

Accommodation: All rooms are ensuite and should be available as either single or twin / double.

The Conference programme includes the following speakers:

  • Gillian Warson with Immanuel’s Ground Quire: Northamptonshire Church Music in the late 18th century

The Festival of Hymns will take place at St Matthews’s Church, Northampton; the Commentator will be Michael Garland, and the Organist will be Thomas Moore, Director of Music at St Matthew’s.

An optional visit to the Cowper Newton Museum in Olney is also planned for Wednesday afternoon, at a slight additional cost.

Prices

  • Fully residential, £390.00. Places are limited so early booking is advisable.
  • Day Visitors, £250.00 for the full conference, pro-rata for shorter attendance, as on the booking form; day visitornumbers are limited.
  • For the Olney outing, add £15.00.
  • Additional nights before or after Conference are not available this year.
  • Bursaries are available from both the Society and Highgate House for those who would otherwise either find it difficult  or impossible to attend. Registration must be made by 30th April with a non-returnable deposit of £100.00. The balance must be paid by 15th June.
